First Stab at Copper Video

Here is my first stab at putting together some of the footage from my Copper trip. I don't yet have all the footage, (that's a not so subtle hint Clint) and when I do I'll try to put together something a little more polished but for now it was fun putting a few pics and video clips to music. The first clip is coming down Nacho on the back bowl of Tucker after being dropped off by the Cat, the next clip is going down Union Meadows, and the last clip is coming down Copper Bowl. Enjoy.

P.S. It's over five minutes long and this is blogger so it might take a bit to load. No problem if you're at work with some time to kill, but if you're rushing out the door, might want to save this one for later.
P.P.S. The footage is a bit shaky so if you get seasick easy you also might want to pass.

Some pics from the Colorado Trip.

I went out to visit Clint a couple weeks ago and yes, it was awesome. Some of the best snowboarding of my life and it was good to see Clint. It's the first time that anyone in the immediate fam has taken off and moved thousands of miles away and that takes some getting used to, but if he had to move somewhere, I'm glad it was to a place with shin to knee high powder and some epic back bowls. Here is a taste of it, more pics and even some video to follow...enjoy.

Colorado Bound!

I bought my plane tickets last night so it's official, I'm heading west to visit Clint at Copper. It's been so long since I last was in CO that back then they didn't yet allow snowboarders at Arapaho Basin. Luckily it's not '94 anymore, and we snowboarders aren't banned from anywhere anymore, and certainly not from Copper. It's a great resort from what I've heard and I can't wait to check it out. By the time I visit the back bowls should be open which is sure to be a blast. Also sure to be a blast is camping out on Clint's dorm room floor for a week. Should be interesting, I'll keep you posted. I'm headed out the last week of February so expect some pics and posts.
